Public Projects

The City of Citrus Heights is soliciting proposals to provide on-call sign repair, replacement and installation services. The work to be performed generally consists of on-call repair, replacement and installation of public street signs (including but not limited to regulatory signs, warning signs, street name signs and special signs), object markers and sidewalk/street barricades and rails at various locations throughout the City of Citrus Heights, and other related work as needed.

The Arcade Creek Cripple Creek Trail (Sylvan to Stock Ranch) Extension Project is the next phase to be designed and constructed from the City’s Creek Corridor Trail Project (Segments A07 and A08 of the Adopted 2014 Feasibility Report). This ½ mile trail extension project will connect residential areas to retail centers, schools, public services, community centers and open spaces. This trail design should prioritize features such as accessibility, fencing, vegetation management, and continuous lighting to enhance trail safety for all users.

The work to be performed consists, in general, of constructing/reconstructing accessible curb ramps, failed and damaged sections of existing curb, gutter and sidewalk, reconstructing and relocating drainage inlets, removal and replacement of deteriorated storm drain pipe, restoring and /or relocating traffic striping, legends and markers, and all other work as shown the contract documents.

The work to be performed generally consists of on-call repair and maintenance services for City-owned streetlights, traffic signals and related infrastructure and equipment in order to meet the City’s various streetlight and traffic signal maintenance needs. The projected work may include traffic signal and streetlight maintenance and repairs and related work

The work to be performed consists, in general, demolition, flooring, cable installation, electrical, wall acoustic installation, texturing and paint.

The Creek Erosion & Bridge Scour Protection Project is a locally funded project and includes surveying, preliminary engineering, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, final engineering plans, project technical specifications, bidding support and construction assistance at three existing bridge locations where natural erosion is impacting existing public infrastructure and/or inhibited City maintenance activities.

This scope of services includes engineering design, environmental review and documentation, regulatory permitting assistance, right-of-way engineering, utility coordination, survey, potholing, community engagement, and bidding/construction support services.

The work to be performed consists, in general, of removal of baskets, native planting for erosion protection, placement of concrete rip rap, and all other work existing concrete, installation of gabion shown in contract documents.

The City of Citrus Heights (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors with relevant experience and expertise, to provide professional services performing Underground Service Alert (USA) Utility Locating and Marking Services for underground utilities owned and operated by the City and within the Citrus Heights City limits.

The Project will evaluate existing conditions, identify collision trends and deficiencies. The goal is to develop Complete Street solutions to address safety concerns, improve access and mobility connections for all users.
